ExamWorks Enters the UK Market: Announces the Acquisition of UK Independent Medical Services Ltd.
September 7, 2010 — ExamWorks, Inc. announced today the acquisition of UK Independent Medical Services Ltd. (UKIM) based in Durham, England. UKIM is a leading independent medical examination agency and medico-legal services provider in the United Kingdom. UKIM was founded in 2003 by industry veterans Paul Healey and Ian Medforth and serves the automotive, public liability (personal injury) and employers' liability (workers' compensation) insurance lines.
