ExamWorks Enters the Canadian Independent Medical Review Market: Acquires SOMA Medical Assessments Inc.

July 1, 2010 - ExamWorks, Inc. announced today the acquisition of SOMA Medical Assessments, Inc. (SOMA) based in Thornhill, Ontario. The company, founded in 1999, has a full service portfolio of independent medical examination and review services. SOMA's portfolio of services includes: independent medical and functional ability examinations, medical file reviews including multidisciplinary, vocational and psychovocational assessments and nerve conduction studies. The company and its eminent physician panel serve the insurance industry and legal professionals throughout all the Canadian provinces.
