ExamWorks Acquires Network Medical Review Co. Ltd.

July 1, 2010 - ExamWorks, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Network Medical Review Co. Ltd. (NMR) based in Rockford, Illinois. NMR has three operating subsidiaries including Elite Physicians, Ltd., Insurance Appeals, Ltd., and WorkersFirst, Ltd. Privately held Network Medical Review Company (NMR) was incorporated in 1995 and is a premier provider of evidence-based medical evaluation services. NMR specializes in the areas of disability, workers' compensation, FMLA, independent medical evaluations, utilization management and general liability.

NMR was one of the first URAC accredited independent review organizations in the nation and maintains this accreditation for both workers' compensation and disability review services.
