ExamWorks Becomes Leading IME Service Provider in the Midwest: Acquires Independent
Medical Services.
July 1, 2010 - ExamWorks, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Independent Medical Services (IMS) based in St. Paul, Minnesota. IMS provides a complete range of independent medical examination and review services for insurance carriers and legal professionals. The company was founded in 1999 and serves the states of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
