ExamWorks Successfully Completes SSAE 16 Audit SOC I Type 2

November 7, 2011 — ExamWorks is pleased to announce that the company completed the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagement No. 16 (SSAE 16) Audit. SSAE 16 SOC I Type 2, formerly known as SAS 70, is an audit of ExamWorks information technology and financial controls. The successful completion of the SSAE 16 Audit assures clients that ExamWorks’ business processes are designed and implemented to minimize client concerns around business environmental risks.

The attestation indicates that selected business processes, procedures and controls have been evaluated and tested by SAS 70 CPA, an accredited, independent third party. The successful audit is a notable milestone. It underscores that ExamWorks is creating and maintaining the industry’s most rigorous processes for the protection and security of customers’ confidential information within our Virtual Private Cloud Computing Network Platform.
